Middle Level (Assistant Manager)

· Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation

· Create new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies

· Monitor emerging technology to determine ways to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability

· Develop monthly and quarterly accounting reports for the management and executive teams

· Implement and monitor the month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting schedules.

· Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company

· Use financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios

· Present potential scenarios and outcomes to management team

· Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents

· Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies

· Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles

· Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations Excellent leadership and team management skill with the ability to motivate and develop a team and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Requirements and skills

· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required (MBA preferred)

· 5+ years’ experience in a financial management position

· Proven strategic planning experience at the management level

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

· Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills

· Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

· Excellent communication skills with ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.

· Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.

· Experience with accounting software in SAP is a plus and advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a must.
